Graham School students hunt for eggs

Graham School students had an “Eggcellent Hunt," as they went on a scavenger hunt for eggs on Friday, March 22, 2024. Students met the Easter Bunny, had a fun time and enjoyed the activity as they welcomed the spring.

Families participated in various engaging, thought-provoking activities on Thursday evening at Graham School for Family ELA Night to discover the joy of literacy with their loved ones. Attendees were welcomed with a plethora of resources and books to utilize for themselves and their children’s education. 

Graham students take part in project-based learning surrounding the Industrial Revolution

On Friday, December 6, 2024, students in Kristen Ciallella's eighth-grade class at Graham School engaged in project-based learning focused on the Industrial Revolution. Through this project, students examined a collection of photographs from 1760 - 1840 and wrote down any questions and observations. They were then organized into groups and conducted background research on the Industrial Revolution, organized their findings, and wrote synthesis statements.

Graham School hosts celebration breakfast for student achievement

On November 26, 2024, over 80 scholars were celebrated during breakfast time for their achievements at Graham School. Students were gifted a pancake breakfast featuring all kinds of toppings and refreshments to commemorate their accomplishments over the last marking period.

Graham School kicks off its inaugural Math with Moms event

Over 70 mother figures and role models gathered in the Graham School gymnasium for the first-ever Math with Moms event. On November 20, 2024, these moms created a community with one another, solving math equations and building foundations to help secure themselves and their students a more confident, bright future.

Sgt. Thomas giving talk to sixth graders

Students in Tabitha Shelton’s sixth-grade class warmly welcomed Sgt. Rasheem Thomas to their classroom last week to have a discussion and learn about what it means to be a veteran. Sgt. Thomas served in the United States Marine Corps for a decade and continues to live a life of service by teaching others, keeping people safe and being an active member of his community.
