Pre-K students at Graham examine life cycle fo butterflies

The Pre-K students at Graham School have been studying scientific processes in nature by examining the life cycle of a butterfly. The class received 10 caterpillars and documented the transformation, observing how the caterpillars formed a chrysalis around themselves. Then during spring recess, they came out of the chrysalises. Students were able to see the beautiful butterflies the caterpillars became when they returned to school. On Monday, Mrs. Christine Iaffaldano, Ms. Caifa Clark, and Mrs. Karen Manna, along with principal Dr. Natasha Hunter-McGregor, released the butterflies with the help and encouragement from our pre-K scholars. What an awesome learning experience!

Graham School was thrilled to welcome a special visit from Santa and his elf from Groove Phi Groove! Scholars had an unforgettable time filled with joy, laughter, and holiday cheer. Graham School is proud to have alumni who continue to give back and support their school community in such fun and engaging ways.
